Description
of Services-
The teacher provides specifically designed
activities for the visually impaired students across the cooperative. Also vision screenings for preschool
students and checks on individual students when requested.
Referral
Process-
Students that are identified in special education or are in the SIT process can be referred for a vision check. If the student has an acuity of 20/70 with best correction or a visual field of 20, then they qualify for services.
