Introduction Letter

Dear Instructional Paraeducator:
This web-based handbook is provided to you with the intent of
informing and clarifying many of the responsibilities and duties
related to the instructional paraeducator in the South Central
Kansas Special Education Cooperative. We hope this handbook
will make you feel a part of the South Central Kansas Special
Education Cooperative family and assist you in becoming a
professional instructional paraeductor. This handbook will be
an ever-evolving work that will constantly be updated to keep you
informed with the latest strategies and best practices in special
education. It is impossible to include everything in this
handbook you need to know, however, we hope that it will provide
answers to many of the common questions you might have.
Items that need further clarification should be directed to your
supervising teacher or Ryan Cunningham at the SCKSEC Administrative
Office, phone: 620-672-7500.
Together, we are striving to offer the students of the South
Central Kansas Special Education Cooperative the best educational
experience possible. You are a very important part of our
instructional team and your service and dedication does not go
