Licensed teachers, with or without special education certification, are eligible and encouraged to apply for open teaching positions. SCKSEC can offer waiver status to licensed teachers while they pursue a special education endorsement. We also encourage prospective teachers who qualify for a Limited License to apply, as this pathway provides an opportunity to begin teaching while completing required coursework.
